This is a "Calico Jack" Rackham" Jolly Roger style ring of 14K &
Sterling Silver.
Members of Viet Nam, Iraq and Afghanistan "Naval Special
Warfare" teams, better known as UDT and since the 80s, Seal
Teams will certainly recognize "JACK".
The 'Jack" center emblem and the Navy Seal emblems on both
sides of the ring are Solid 14K Gold. The ring is Solid Sterling
Silver.
In case my photography or your monitor is a little off color, the
ring is Bright White Sterling Silver and the emblems are Yellow
14K Gold.
The Skull and Crossed Cutlass was, I'm told, was first adopted
by UDT Teams in Viet Nam. Jack was revived during the First
Gulf War by the Seal Teams and is still the "Team Mascot" today.
This ring is a new ring manufactured by a Proud Viet Nam
Veteran with 40 years of jewelry manufacturing experience in
my shop in Sunny Southern California. The ring and all parts are
protected by Copyright.
This is a nice, really bold design (translation = Big Ass Ring)
with a solid back and lower profile so that it doesn't catch on
pockets and irritate your finger or your attitude. The ring top is
approx. 3/4 inch wide by a little over 5/8 Inch high. The top
surface of the bezel has a light brushed finish to further
enhance detail.
This is a very comfortable ring to wear with slightly rounded
inside edges. Total ring weight in Size 11 is over 2/3 of an
Ounce. In the pictures you can see the thickness and width of
the shank of this ring. It is built for a lifetime if wear.
This a nice size and weight for everyday comfort and built
heavy enough to last a lifetime.
The 3 Emblems are Solid 14K Gold. The Ring is Solid Sterling
Silver. The 3 emblems are Hard Soldered to the ring and
